CHARACTER

This week long workshop explored character development through latex mask making! We sculpted original characters out of clay, cast them in plaster, painted the casts with tinted latex, and then sewed facial hair onto the latex using yarn, cotton balls and embroidery needles. Then we embodied our characters in video portraits with personalized backgrounds. Beam Summer Day Camp, 2017
